A pastor-teacher is commissioned by God to equip the saints for the work of ministry and growth to maturity (Ephesians 4:11-15). The Pastor gives direction and vision, by mediating the truth of Scripture to the Church.
Chad's vision for ministry is "To glorify God, by proclaiming Christ":
"I am convinced that Christ desires a 'Bible' explaining centere of ministry for his Church. The Bible is practical, it is inspirational, and beyond all, it is relational--it reveals God to us. The reason for that, is that the Bible is God's inspired word. It is called by Paul, 'the word of Christ'. He gave to his church, in order that through the word, Christ might rule his Church. We come to know Christ by listening to his word. When we listen, the Holy Spirit changes us, and we become more and more like Christ, and so glorify God."
When working for another ministry, Chad drafted the following statement, which reflects his convictions:
I believe that the primary need of the 21st century Church is sound doctrine – the Bible clearly teaches that sound doctrine is a prerequisite and absolutely necessary for the proclamation of the gospel unto salvation (Rom 6:17), to equip the body of Christ for every good work (2 Tim 3:16-17), and for individual sanctification (2 Tim 2:7). And whereas it is the chief duty of Christ’s ministers to proclaim sound doctrine (2 Tim 4:1-5), and so unify the body of Christ in maturity (Eph 4:11-16)—it is therefore absolutely urgent to grapple seriously with the Scripture (2 Tim 2:15), coordinate theological tradition (2 Tim 2:2; Heb 13:7), and formulate truth to confront and inform the present age and the current generation of the body of Christ.
Chad has earned his M.Div. (The Master's Seminary and Briercrest Seminary), and M.A. (Liberty University).
