Grace is committed to a high view of membership. We are not part of a book club, or a social network. When we gather together we are “the temple of the living God” (2 Cor. 6:16).

Membership is about living in a covenant to support one another, by using our spiritual gifts “for the common good” (1 Cor. 12:7), and to encourage one another in love and good works (Heb. 10:24).

The Church’s Membership Mandate is found in the Book of Ephesians (4:11-16):

1) We are given gifts of leaders, to which we covenant to learn and grow and to be equipped in our gifts for ministry (vs. 11-12), to become mature in our doctrine and Christlike in our character (vs. 13-14).

2) Each one of us is to “speak the truth in love” and use the gifts and abilities God has given us to build up one another and equip one another so that the body builds itself up in love (vs. 15-16).
